In 2011, led by Arne Sorenson, Marriott committed to “greening the global supply chain”
To meet the goal of sustainably sourcing 95% in Top 10 Priority Categories by 2025, Marriott adopted the MindClick Sustainability Assessment Program (MSAP) created through the Hospitality Sustainable Purchasing Consortium in collaboration with the USGBC, designers, purchasing agents, sustainability experts, and 20 FF&E vendors.
For over five years, Marriott has been using MSAP to specify products for their brand standards. MindClick and Marriott have partnered to bring this same solution to custom projects.

Projects earning Achiever or Leader ratings, based on the ratings of the products specified, are eligible to be entered into the Marriott sponsored Design for Health™ awards program.
